We have an ex-HMRC Deputy Director to provide experienced professional tax advice
Neil Rollason:
I was fortunate to enjoy 39 years success with HM Revenue & Customs. The last 16 years as a Senior Civil Servant including HMRC Deputy Director specialising in agreed tax negotiations and achieving resolutions across many global/UK companies. Total revenue obtained in favour of HMRC being over £5billion across all taxes and duties.
My work has directly led to negotiated complicated resolutions including using Without Prejudice discussions, Alternative Dispute Resolution case discussions as well as formal HMRC powers that eventually resolved through the Tribunal process. Cases included High Risk Corporate Programme resolutions.
I have presented at tax conferences in the UK and at overseas tax jurisdictions working with and training colleagues to understand the numerous ways to achieve resolution to tax investigations and advise on a better way of working between the respective government departments and Tax Revenue bodies.
I have been a Customer Compliance Manager for some of the largest UK companies with very complicated tax investigations therefore I have often discussed resolution proposals with Global Tax Managers/Board members directly.
Chen Nixon:
I have enjoyed a highly successful business career working with Chinese and International businesses to help secure successful negotiation results. These discussions achieved a great business result for all.
As a Chinese National living in the UK I have extensive experience in Chinese/English translations and negotiating tactics. I can help you navigate any interactions you may have with HMRC both as a Chinese business in the UK and also linking to any Chinese connections involved in your business.
